copyright laws?

I have CD with about 450 images from my wedding. My photographer gave it to me but I am not sure ....,is it legal to use them to make my wedding album?
I wasn't so happy with my photographer and I do not wanted to ask him directly. Do I need written approval from the photographer of the copyright in order to use them? Sorry if this sounds stupid but I wasn't sure.

You would need to get copy right release letter from the photographer who took your images. If you have trouble obtaining a letter from your photographer, we will provide a copy right release form for you.
